Job Summary:
As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial rooftops. You will work closely with our installation team to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient solar system installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and secure solar panels on rooftops and other structures.
- Connect electrical wiring in accordance with system design and local building codes.
- Perform site assessments and measure placement for solar panels.
- Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing around installations.
- Assist with system troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, and electricians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload solar materials and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in solar installation, roofing, construction, or electrical work (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work at heights.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and roofing systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred but not required).
