Yard Hostler

Pro Truck Lines is looking for an experienced Class A Yard Hostler based in Portland, OR.

We have a Night Shift position available working a 10 hour shift

Our ideal candidate has experience spotting trailers and must have a Class A CDL

Responsibilities

• Operating combination tractor-trailers, bobtail trucks, and yard hostler.
• Consistently and accurately backing a trailer up to a dock with relative ease.
• Safely maneuvering a truck through the yard.
• Climbing in and out of vehicles numerous times per shift.
• Using wheel chocks and other safety devices as required.
• Communicate effectively using onboard computer. Tech savy.

Qualifications:

• Previous shuttling/hostling experience preferred
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and turn in confined areas
• Must be able to read and follow instructions

Shift Hours:

10- 11 hour shifts Night Shift available now

Salary: $29.00 per hour

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
