Job Summary:
PRO-VISION Video Systems is seeking an on-site Special Accounts Manager to drive business growth and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts. The Special Accounts Manager will be responsible for selling integrated video systems in transit environments, developing customized proposals, and managing complex sales cycles. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong technical background, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to engage with non-technical buyers and key decision makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels of an organization, from influencers to executive decision-makers.
- Present and sell integrated video solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Explain technical solutions in simple terms to non-technical buyers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing client accounts.
- Navigate complex sales cycles
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations to win new business.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Travel within a defined U.S. territory (up to 30%) to meet with clients and close deals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-5 years of consultative sales experience in integrated video systems within fixed or transit environments.
- Strong understanding of internet and wireless communication systems.
- Proven ability to develop winning sales strategies and close complex deals.
- Excellent oral and written communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in researching, writing, and delivering marketing proposals and presentations.
- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where multiple responsibilities are required.
- "Close the Deal" attitude, balanced with patience and adaptability to customer needs.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license required for travel.
Education & Experience:
- 3 years of experience in account management, business development, or outside sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience in vehicle technology, security systems, or equipment sales is a plus.
