Role and responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance : perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshooting : diagnose and repair electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Installation : install, upgrade, and modify electrical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Safety compliance : ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaboration : work closely with other maintenance and production teams to coordinate electrical maintenance activities and address any electrical-related concerns.
- Documentation : maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, installations, and inspections. Update equipment manuals and electrical drawings as needed.
- Emergency response : respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns promptly, providing quick and effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
- Training and guidance : provide guidance to junior technicians and apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall skill level of the team.
- Continuous improvement : identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements in the electrical systems, suggesting and implementing upgrades as necessary.
- Collaboration with management : communicate regularly with management to report on the status of electrical systems, upcoming maintenance requirements, and any potential risks or improvements.
- Equipment testing : conduct regular testing and inspections of electrical equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with quality standards.
