Pro Action is looking for a full-time manager of Head Start/Early Head Start for the purpose/s of managing, supervising and coordinating the disabilities and mental health services and related activities by providing a broad range of services including early childhood mental health consultation, in classrooms and through home visits supporting a diverse community, training and coaching staff, screening, assessment and referral services; and providing parent training within established guidelines and standards.
The Manager will analyze a variety of program related information to provide direction, support, recommendations, and ensure operations are within budget and adhere to compliance guidelines and performance standards while taking an inclusive approach to problem solving.
A bachelor’s degree is required at minimum, preferably related to disabilities management with experience working with young children and families. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data entry, have excellent organization skills and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
The ideal candidate must have a driver’s license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area. Agency Driver Record History standards information can be obtained by calling Human Resources at 607-776-2125.
