What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at ProAction of Steuben & Yates, Inc.?
Toddler Teacher – Bath/Hornell ($17.00 - $18.60/hour): Pro Action’s Early Head Start Program is seeking a teacher to work with toddlers in a center-based program. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
The Toddler Teacher works as part of a classroom team and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum while providing nurturing care. Compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and New York State Day Care Regulations is required at all times.
This position requires an Infant/Toddler CDA or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Experience working with infants/toddlers, preferably in a classroom setting is necessary. The ideal candidate must have a driver’s license that meets agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
