Responsibilities:
Manage evaluations and medical services for the studies in progress, Able to answer patient's inquires, Screening and enrolling research patients, Draw blood from patients (phlebotomy), Processing and sending lab specimens, Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, staff, and patients. Collect and maintain study documentation in accordance with regulations. Record adverse events and side effect information and consult with investigators concerning the reporting of events
Experience:
Various patient testing methodologies (vital signs, urinalysis, research questionnaires, etc).
Clinical research experience is preferred.
Skills:
Able to function effectively in a team setting,
Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail,
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals. Have excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English
Ability to speak in another language is an asset (Spanish Preferred)
Education:
Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) required.
Medical background, Foreign physicians are a plus (optional)
