Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV and other surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities or unauthorized access.
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, assessing situations and taking appropriate action to ensure safety.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the security of the environment.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports of incidents as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Participate in ongoing training related to security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of conflict management techniques.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance operations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies within a security context.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid armed security license as per state regulations.
