What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Member position at ProAmpac?
We are seeking a Production Team Member to join our team at ProAmpac. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for loading converting bag machines with roll stock of film (plastic) and setting up the machines to the customer's specification.
The Converting Machine Operator will form the bag or pouch and be responsible for efficiently operating the converting bag machine. This includes machine setup, bag production, handling finished product, quality control, and reporting while adhering to safety guidelines.
We require applicants to have mechanical reasoning skills, ability to do machine set-ups, calibrations, etc., or a willingness to learn. You must also be able to read a tape measure and record measurements. Good communication skills are necessary, and manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
