Machine Learning EngineerLocation : 100% RemoteDuration : 5 months Experience : 4 to 6 yearsClient : IDEXX LabWork Schedule : 8 AM EST - 5 PM ESTA succesful candidate in this role, you will develop and deploy machine learning solutions. You will optimize models for deployment on cloud infrastructure and embedded hardware, implement scalable and efficient training procedures and integrate models into production systems. The Machine Learning Operations team supports all projects in the Center of Excellence, and you will contribute to high impact problems. - Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms
- Develop training processes that scale to large imaging and text datasets
- Optimize models for performance and scalability
- Work with software engineers and data scientists to integrate ML models into production systems on the cloud and in embedded systems
- Collaborate with data scientists to identify and analyze data requirements
- Develop and implement data preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and related fieldsWhat you need :
- Previous experience in machine learning as evidenced by delivering solutions into production
- Excellent software engineering skills including a test-driven mindset
- Strong programming skills in Python, Spark, and evidence of experience with other languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
- Experience optimizing model performance on CPUs, GPUS – embedded hardware optimization is a plus but not required. You will help optimize models on embedded systems.
- Experience with ML tech stacks, including Databricks, MLflow, Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, SageMaker), containerization technologies such as Docker
- High level of comfort with Linux
- Experience with SQL
