Schedule Monday - Friday, shifts available: Opening: 5:00am - 1:30pm, Mid: 6:00 - 2:30pm, Closing - 7:00am - 3:30pm.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting with distribution needs of materials from receiving through shipping. This position will perform each essential function to ensure orders are accurate and received to internal and external customers on time and right first time. This position requires strong leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset and knowledge of regulatory concepts in a manufacturing environment.

KEY JOB DUTIES

• Assists leadership in directing department team members in daily activities, helping prioritize and distribute the workload.

• Run daily huddles with the team and attend other department huddles as needed to ensure a successful day.

• Receive inbound material. Cross reference, enter into systems, label and stage in a timely and accurate manner. Put materials in proper locations following all policies including allergen handling and quarantine procedures. Examine and inspect for damage and defects.

• Pull, deliver, and stage orders from a pull/pick sheet for production and packing in a timely and accurate manner using proper procedures.

• Return partials to inventory appropriately.

• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner.

• Assist in performing physical inventory and cycle counts. Rotate stock and keep bin locations organized.

• Prepare orders for shipment. Assist logistics to ship orders as needed.

• Perform physical destruction of materials that need to be destructed. Follow applicable procedures.

• Operate and maintain forklift(s) in a safe manner. Responsible for training and certifying team members.

• Communicate professionally and timely with other team members in the company.

• Ability to use company systems as necessary.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, accuracy, and efficiency in support of the company target objectives.

• Perform all other special projects or duties as assigned.

COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

• Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.

• Able to lift and move 50lbs from the floor to a height of 48 inches multiple times a day.

• Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, climb, perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.

• Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.

• Maintain good attendance.

• Perform other projects / duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUACTION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, or GED.

• Forklift certification required. Ability to train and certify others.

• At least three years general warehouse experience.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
