The Manager of Regulatory, EHS & Insurance monitors the company’s production activities at all levels and ensures compliance with applicable government regulations both external and internal. Identify the need for new regulatory policies, processes, SOPs and risk mitigation.

The Manager of Regulatory, EHS & Insurance monitors the company’s production activities at all levels and ensures compliance with applicable government regulations both external and internal. Identify the need for new regulatory policies, processes, SOPs and risk mitigation.
Regulatory Task
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and monitor state to state compliance regulations for all scopes of work
- Perform documented Risks Assessments, and Risk Mitigation
- Monitor and document OSHA reporting
- Validate OSHA requirements are met
- IE. Silica Dust exposure - PPE used to mitigate
- IE. LOTO properly used
- IE. Forklift Certifications
- IE. Rigging Certifications
- IE. Paint Booth/Respirator Compliance
- Launch environmental protection program
- Follow-up on any environmental violations
- Champion monthly EHS Meetings / Heavy emphasis on review of safety incidents for the last month
- Weekly Safety message to the entire field team
- Immediate follow-up for Safety related events / issues
- OSHA reporting based upon safety events as needed
- Generate CARS as required to document safety incidents and follow-up corrective actions
- Document safety near misses
- Oversee/monitor Safety training Program
- Create a Field/Warehouse Safety Audit Program
- Participate in Client EHS audits
- Maintain Material Data Sheets Program
- Maintain PPE Program
- Annual EHS Program facilitation & testing
- Complete Job Safety Analysis forms
- Dosimeter process (radiation exposure tracking)
- Manage companies’ global insurance portfolio, including renewals, claims processing and coordination with brokers and insureds
- Facilitate/coordinate with Broker/Carrier requests for site visits, audits
- Follow up with any Carrier recommendations
- Work closely with managers/employees on claim information/follow-up
- Maintain claims listing, summary of program, follow up with Insurance Invoicing
- Manage Certificate of Insurance
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma
- At least 2 years of regulatory or EHS research experience
- Excellent research and data analysis skillset a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer data entry skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Possess great attention to detail
- Bachelors degree
- Previous managerial experience preferred
