POSITION SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Technician at ProCaps Labs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all production equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs to restore operations quickly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper setup and operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance procedures.
- Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Participate in training programs and maintain knowledge of best practices in maintenance and repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations as needed.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; technical certifications in maintenance or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials, and to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic computer skills for documenting work and using maintenance management software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer
- Work occasionally near mechanical parts and in high places
- Occasional duties in an outside environment
- Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free environment
