What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Manager position at ProCare Rx?
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for handling all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, expense reports, and other payables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following :
- Checks employee expense reports for accuracy and processes checks for direct deposit.
- Posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. May handle incoming calls from vendors regarding payments.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Process check requests.
- Audit and process credit card bills.
- Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
- 1099 maintenance.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Assist in month end closing.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
