Position Overview:
- Job Title: School Occupational Therapist
- $50 Hourly Pay
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Grade Levels:7th-12th
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 13th, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Work with students with various diagnoses, including Autism (AUT), Intellectual Disability (ID), Other Health Impairments (OHI), and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
- Address sensory and fine motor needs using adaptive technologies, including various software programs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized treatment plans
- Log student progress and notes in the SEIS documentation system
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in CA.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong knowledge of sensory and fine motor interventions and adaptive technology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop a flexible schedule and manage a diverse caseload
