Contract Behavior Instructional Aide
ProCare Therapy is workingwith a school district in McMinnville, ORthat is looking to hire a Behavior Instructional Aidefor the remainder of the 2024-2025 school yearwith the opportunityfor renewal for the following school year.
The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A full school year contract will be awarded for you to complete. Details:
- Full-time:32.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Hours: 7:30- 3:00
- Providing academic and 1:1 behavior support Assisting lead teacher with academic instruction and additional classroom support
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students in various settings (classroom, playground, etc.).
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Support students in developing social, communication, and adaptive skills.
- Assist with classroom management and organization.
- Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student education and behavior management. Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelors degree in related field preferred
- Must have 2 years of experience and experience as a 1:1 aid
- Must have experience with ABA therapy and strategies
- Previous clinic or school based experience strongly preferred
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

- 20-30 minute virtual interview directly with the school district
- Offer is typically extended within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
