Position Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Wells, MN. The LPN will play a vital role in delivering health services within the school setting, working collaboratively with educators and health professionals to support the health needs of students.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to students, including administering first aid and medications, as well as monitoring health status.
• Collaborate with the school health team to develop and implement tailored healthcare plans for students with specific medical conditions.
• Conduct routine health assessments, such as screenings for illness and chronic conditions, and document findings accurately.
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide initial care until further assistance is available.
• Maintain detailed health records and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and legal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff to coordinate care for students.
• Advocate for student health and wellness through education and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education:Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Licensure:Must possess a current LPN license in Minnesota.
• Experience:Experience in pediatric nursing or a school environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills:Strong clinical abilities, excellent communication skills, and effective organizational skills.
