About the Position :
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in St. Marys County, MD . This full-time position will involve supporting middle and high school students at two school locations. The successful candidate will work closely with licensed speech-language pathologists to assist with therapy services, helping students develop critical communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for middle and high school students.
- Support students in improving their speech, language, and communication skills.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure students needs are met.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional relationship with students and staff.
