School Psychologist Near Englewood, FL
ProCare Therapy is looking to fill a School Psychologist contract job in our school district!This is a full-time, on-site position startingASAP! As a School Psychologist, you will provide essential support for students K-12. You will help students with their mental health, education and learning through assessments, IEPs and evaluations.
Location: Arcadia, FL
Job Type: Full-time School Psychologist (37.5 hrs/week)
Start/End Date: ASAP- 5/30/25

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all student initial and re-evaluations, including student testing
• Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies.
• Work with students, families, and school staff to address and resolve conflicts and behavioral concerns.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Must have an active Psych License/certification inFlorida.
• Experience:
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, particularly with elementary-aged students, is preferred.
• Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology, mental health, and education.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances.
• Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology related to psychology and education.

Salary and Benefits:

• Weekly Pay
• $40-$55hourly rate. Pay dependent on experience and school district budget.
