Minimum 1 years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required.
Second Semester Deaf Hard of Hearing Teacher
Location : Colorado Springs, CO
Duration : ASAP End of School Year (EOSY)
Hours : 40 hrs / week
Caseload :
Middle School : 9 students in one class, 8 students in another
High School : 10 students in one class, 8 students in another
Bilingual Support : Assist with High School English Language Arts using ASL skills to bridge to English
Responsibilities :
Teach ASL to MS and HS students
Support English Language Arts using ASL
Prepare and implement lessons, track student progress, and assess performance
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and parents
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Deaf Education, ASL, or related field
Previous teaching experience with middle and high school students
Proficiency in ASL and teaching ASL to students
Start Date : ASAP
