Minimum 1 years interpreting experience required.
ProCare Therapy is looking for a bilingual employee who canserve as a translator between parents, teachers and staff. The district would prefer a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree. This candidate should be fluent in both oral and written communication in Spanish and English. They will also need to have an exemplary attention to detail.
Responsibilities :
- Greetfamilies and helpSpanish speaking families with various needs : transportation requests, medical needs, absence calls
- Interfaces with students and families on a regular basis in both Spanish and English
- Provide translation services between the school and families
- Calls the families of all Spanish Speaking late / absent students each morning
- Assists staff with phone calls home to Spanish Speaking families. May include in person meetings regarding academic and behavioral issues
- Answers phones and email in English and Spanish
