Job Description:
ProCare Therapyis seeking afull-time Occupational Therapist to join our school team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student population, providing therapy and educational support to help children overcome physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' occupational needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with various needs, including motor and sensory deficits.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to enhance student learning.
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss therapy goals and student progress.
- Offer staff and parent education regarding occupational therapy strategies and interventions.
- Track and report student progress regularly.
- Help create classroom adaptations and environmental modifications.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of special education and IEP processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
