Are you a passionate School Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of middle school students? ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time social worker to join a middle school in Rivergrove, IL for the remainder of the school year. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with students facing emotional challenges and provide them with the tools to succeed in school and life.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling and group therapy sessions to middle school students with mental health needs
- Implement social-emotional learning (SEL) programs and lead conflict resolution activities
- Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and assist students in addressing challenging behaviors
- Conduct mental health assessments and create individualized plans to support students needs
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals to community resources as needed
- Work with teachers, parents, and staff to create a safe and supportive school environment
- Maintain confidential and thorough case documentation in compliance with school policies
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: EOSY (End of school year)
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Caseload: Middle school students
- Hourly Rate: $37 /hour (based on experience)
- Interviews: Ready to interview ASAP
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- Valid LCSW or Social Worker licensure in Illinois
- Experience working with middle school-aged children with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Expertise in mental health interventions, SEL, and crisis management
- Strong skills in documentation and creating individualized support plans
