ProCare Therapy is excited to collaborate with a respected school district in Kingston, PA, to hire a School Social Worker for the 2024-2025 school year. About the Role

Position Type : Part-Time

Schedule : 3 days per week

Caseload :

  • Supporting students across all grade levels
  • Working with emotional support and learning support students

Responsibilities

  • Provide social work services to support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
  • Conduct assessments, manage cases, and offer referrals as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to implement effective interventions.
  • Deliver crisis intervention support when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation to ensure compliance.

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Masters degree in Social Work from a state-approved program.
  • Experience : Minimum of 500 supervised practicum hours.
  • Certification : Valid School Social Worker certification or eligibility for temporary approval.
  • Other : Valid drivers license required.
