ProCare Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in Southbridge, MA. This is a long-term substitute position, providing support to students and Speech-Language Pathologists for the remainder of the school year.
Position Details:- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Location: Southbridge, MA
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Duration: ASAP End of the 2024-2025 school year
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering therapy services to students
- Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Work with students on articulation, receptive/expressive language, and social communication skills
- Document student progress and maintain accurate session notes
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to support student development
- Active SLPA license in Massachusetts (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
