Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is looking for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a New Hampshire school district for a remote position starting ASAP and lasting until March. The position involves working with a small caseload of 6 students, primarily high school-aged, across 4 campuses. The SLP will provide virtual therapy sessions once a week, for 30 minutes per student, resulting in roughly 5-10 hours of work per week.
This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for a flexible, part-time role. In addition to therapy, the SLP will assist with assessments and support students using one-to-one devices. The platform used for therapy sessions is Google Meet, and the role involves working within the NHSEIS system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual therapy services to 6 students, mainly in high school, across 4 campuses.
- Conduct 30-minute sessions once a week for each student (5-10 hours per week).
- Assist with assessments to identify speech and language needs.
- Work with students who have one-to-one devices for virtual sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff from charter and high schools.
- Use NHSEIS system for documentation and reporting.
- Ensure that therapy and assessments align with school IEPs and goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in New Hampshire.
- Experience working with high school students is preferred.
- Familiarity with NHSEIS system for documentation is a plus.
- Experience with virtual therapy platforms, particularly Google Meet, is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
