Are you seeking a new opportunity within a school district? VocoVision proudly collaborates with an outstanding school district in Tooele, UT, in search of a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the ongoing school year!
SLP Job Description:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students, including those in life skills classrooms.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and goals.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development activities.
Position Details:
- Location: Tooele, UT
- Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (37.5 hours per week)
- Duration: ASAP - May 22, 2024
- Caseload: Two schools with life skills classrooms, approximately 58 students across both locations
- Pay Rate: $47 per hour
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and VocoVision candidates, with a preference for onsite work.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Utah SLP license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast and reliable computer and internet connection (No Chromebooks/tablets permitted)
Pay & Benefits:
- Highly competitive compensation ($47 per hour)
