ProCare Therapy is thrilled to offer two full-time contract opportunities for Special Education Teachers at a school district in Hyde Park, MA. Qualifications :

  • Valid Massachusetts Educator License / Certificate

Position Details :

  • Start Date : Immediate
  • Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Hours : 40 hours per week
  • School Day : 7 : 45 AM - 3 : 25 PM (includes a 30-minute duty-free lunch)

    • Open Positions : 1. Resource Teacher

  • Grade Level : 2nd grade
  • Caseload : 8-10 students
  • Responsibilities : Supporting academic progress, managing behavioral needs, and addressing developmental delays

    • 2. Self-Contained Teacher

  • Grade Levels : Kindergarten through 2nd grade
  • Caseload : 8-10 students
  • Responsibilities : Assisting with autism, developmental delays, communication challenges, behavioral needs, functional skills, academic goals, and independent living tasks (including toileting)

    • Key Responsibilities for Both Roles :

  • Deliver individualized instruction and manage student casework
  • Monitor and document quarterly progress updates
  • Collaborate on and participate in IEP meetings
  • Perform additional duties as required

    • Contract Information :

  • Duration : Through December 2024, with the potential to extend through the school year
