ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Jefferson, ME. This opportunity focuses on working with students with emotional and behavioral needs, fostering growth in both special and regular education classroom settings.

• Location: Jefferson, ME
• Schedule: Full-time, ASAP June 10, 2025
• Caseload: Students with emotional and behavioral needs
• Team Support: Work alongside educational technicians and staff

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each students unique needs.
• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support in both special education and mainstream classroom settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, educational technicians, and families to ensure cohesive student support.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to encourage academic and social-emotional growth.
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.

• Valid Maine Teacher Certificate with a 282 Endorsement (required).
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting.
