ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in New Oxford, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs and abilities.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests.
- Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
