We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a dynamic school district in Canaan, VT for a long-term substitute role from March to June 2025 . This is a full-time contract position, supporting both middle and high school students with varying needs.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct instructional support to students with disabilities.
- Implement individualized educational plans and adapt curricula to meet student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusion in the classroom.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Assist with behavior management strategies and interventions.
