- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to inform instructional decisions
- Attend IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents and the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including progress reports and attendance records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working with students with special needs
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
