The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully growing a biopharma consulting business, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team of consultants. Specifically, the person will do the following:
- Business Development: Work with ProcDNA leadership to identify new opportunities on the East Coast and lead the sales process (identifying the right question that we need to solve, developing the project proposal, and ensuring that the project is sold)
- Project Delivery: Ensure that sold projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Office Set-up: Work with leadership to set up the East Coast office of 5-10 consultants
- Talent Development: Work with the recruiting team to develop an Associate recruiting pipeline on the East Coast
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
- 8 years of biopharma consulting experience focusing on Commercial Analytics or Technology
- Demonstrated expertise with commonly used data sources in the biopharma industry (e.g., IQVIA's APLD, Xponent/DDD/PlanTrak, NPA/NSP, and similar data from other providers)
- Demonstrated proficiency in a programming language or analytic tool, e.g., R, SAS, Tableau or VBA
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team of consultants
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends and best practices
