Sr. Technician - Mechanical

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead Technician with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in automation manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating Mill and Lathe machines and will take the lead in assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Assembly: Lead the assembly and teardown of industrial machinery, following mechanical drawings.
• Machining: Operate Mill and Lathe machines to machine components with precision.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and pneumatic issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Pneumatic Systems: Assemble and troubleshoot pneumatic systems according to diagrams.
• Prototype Fabrication: Create or modify prototype parts using machine shop tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming parts for quality and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work with electrical and controls teams to ensure components are installed and functioning properly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
  

Additional Information

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-7 years in mechanical assembly, especially in automation manufacturing.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with Mill and Lathe machines, and excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Safety: Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

• Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks

• Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
• Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
• Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct
