Summary
Future position. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling customer specific parts that were produced in other departments on site at PDF, Inc.. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our custom-designed products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. NOT assembly line. This is a mechanical assembly, labor intensive position is a great team environment without climate control during hot weather.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and parts according to detailed specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment safely and effectively.
- Use pendant controlled overhead crane to handle parts over 50lbs.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Ability to consistently work at a high moderate to fast pace depending on production demands.
- Ability to stand for entire shift except breaks and lunch.
- Must enter data electronically and be comfortable with electronic tablet.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn to read technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
