Role Description
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment. This full-time role includes tasks such as conducting safety training, performing accident investigations, and maintaining compliance with EHS regulations. You will be required to develop and enforce safety policies, conduct regular safety audits, and liaise with regulatory bodies. This position will be 80% in the field working at various projects ensuring safety compliance for PEC personnel and sub contractors, 20% will be in the home office located in Covington GA completing JSA documentation as well as other administrative work.
Qualifications
- Experience in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety (OSHA 500 Preferred)
- Proficiency in Safety Training and Accident Investigation
- Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in an industrial setting is a plus
- must pass a background check and MVA reporting as this person will be given a company vehicle to complete job site visits.
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
