What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at Process Solutions Corporation?
Process Solutions Corp. (PSC) is seeking the right individual to deliver technical solutions in instrumentation and controls to our customer base. Our technical solutions include turn-key automation packages with communications, signal conditioning and instrumentation. This position assists in manufacturing, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting for a variety of systems with All-in-one-controllers, instrumentation and controls. This role requires excellent electrical and mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills. This is a full-time position with some local travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow schematics, engineered drawings, specifications and or procedures to assemble Electro-mechanical control packages using hand/power tools.
- Build and produce quality products at an efficient work pace to meet production schedule.
- Startup and verify instrumentation including Magnetic, Thermal and Coriolis flowmeters at various customer sites.
- Troubleshoot existing customer applications with help of our engineers and senior technicians.
- Enter RMA data into our Zoho Desk ticketing system and maintaining the system.
- Conduct hands-on demos of our products for customers.
- Calibrate, test and packaging various controls and instrumentation per documentation.
- Assist in shipping and receiving instrumentation and electronics
Requirements:
- minimum 2-5 years’ experience in related field.
- Electrical/Instrumentation degree a plus.
- Wiring and/or instrumentation background preferred.
- Good mathematical, scientific and logical reasoning abilities.
- Ability to use various handheld electrical tools and voltmeter
- Strong verbal and written communications skills to interact regularly with co-workers or clients
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Have uncompromising dedication to quality
- A valid driver’s license and clean record.
- The ability to pass a drug test and background check required for entry at critical facilities.
