Machine Operator/Assembler

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an individual to operate a manual lathe machine. Will train the right person. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, quality control, and safety protocols within a factory setting. If you have experience with machines and a solid grasp of technical drawings we encourage you to apply. Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with the potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machines to produce high-quality components.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure precise measurements.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating machinery.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles for quality assurance.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring devices like micrometers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
