Processio Strategic Services is recruiting this position on behalf of our client, Freestone Lake and Golf.
This position is located in Fairfield, Texas. Applicants applying for this part-time position must be available on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Freestone is a luxury lake and golf club encompassing the largest privately owned lake in the United States. Set upon 5,000 acres of open water, rolling hills and Savannah Post Oaks, Freestone provides a generational retreat for family and friends halfway between Dallas and Houston. The breathtaking property provides water-front golf at a championship level, trophy bass fishing, boating without public access, and all of the activities and amenities a family should expect from a world-class, private resort.
Position Summary:
We are looking for part-time bartenders with strong social awareness for our on-site restaurants and club. This position will primarily operate in Fairfield with some events in Dallas. This role requires the ability to multitask and serve as a versatile member of the hospitality team. The bartenders may also support catered events. This position will operate in a no-tipping environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Available to work on Wednesday and Sunday
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations surrounding the bartending profession
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional cocktails
- Craft background preferred but not required
- 1-2 years of experience as a bartender in a high end establishment
- Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Essential Functions:
- Promotes and upholds the Freestone Lake and Golf Club brand and values
- Verify customer ages
- Mix traditional cocktails
- Process payments
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based upon customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive and exciting atmosphere
