Job Description
OVERVIEW :
The Financial Analyst will support both the Senior Leadership team and the Project Management Leadership team in providing financial support and analysis to achieve project excellence. This will include program planning support such as scheduling, budgeting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, status reporting, data validation and resource planning in support of government customer and corporate financial planning. This position will follow accounting, contractual and regulatory requirements along with proper approval authorization and will assist in the development of Program Control procedures. Reporting will include monthly CDRL reporting, ad-hoc request to support customer requirements and utilizing Unanet for creating standardized program financial reporting, dash boards and metric reporting. This position will closely collaborate with the Program Manager to track contract ceiling and funding, forecast all direct labor, ensure that project set up meets contractual requirements, accurately reflects the correct labor hours, rates, labor category, subcontractor costs and ODC costs, and assist in contract closeout.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education & Years of Experience : Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience related to specific functional area.
- Certifications : Currently hold IAT II certifications, or be able to attain a CompTIA CYSA certification
- Hands-on experience and knowledge with the following :
- Relevant experience (2-5 years) in Earned Value Management System (EVMS), project accounting and / or project control
- Previous experience in Government Contracting
- Excellent organizational skills, including following established process and assisting with process refinement.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all experience levels.
- Must demonstrate strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
- Previous experience with business system software (or specifically Unanet) is desired however Unanet training can be provided.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Superior memory for details and quality orientated.
- Self-starter, demonstrated initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision
