We have the ability to research, define and recommend technologies to our customer and are involved in all parts of the software development life cycle. The applications we help to develop are highly customized, help to automate the business processes of our customer, and allow them to perform various types of analysis on datasets that they would not normally be able to do. Employ software development techniques and methodologies for solving tough analytical challenges in support of one of our nation's premier law enforcement entities
Opportunity to expand upon beyond specializations to include front end user interfaces, back end microservices, web services, cloud architectures, as well as databases
Deploy developed IT solutions, user applications, databases and other IT capabilities
Design and develop specialized user solutions, applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach
Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases
Maintain code integrity and organization
Collaborate with the rest of engineering team to design and launch new features
Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
5 or more years of experience in software development, to include each phase of the software development life cycle
3 years minimum working with Java
3 years minimum working with reactive front end technologies such as AngularJS 2.0 , VueJS, or React
Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
Experience with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and Confluence
Strong object-oriented design skills
Excellent communication skills
CLEARANCE : Top Secret minimum
Desired Skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATION :
Experience with datastores such as Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, or Elasticsearch
Experience working with CSS or CSS library such as Boostrap
Experience utilizing AWS cloud services or operating within AWS
Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as, AWS Cloud (GovCloud / C2S), Azure Cloud
Familiar with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS), Hadoop Big Data and cross domain data services
Experience with using continuous integration server technology
Experience with configuration management and CI Tools, such as, Git / Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, ChefExperience with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and Confluence
