Emergency Room Cleaning Technician

Job description

ProClean, Inc. is looking to fill the Environmental Service position on Fridays and Saturdays (8am for 3-4 hours) and Mondays (4pm-12am) at an Emergency Room in Valparaiso and traveling to Winfield to service a Sleep Lab during the 8am shift hours. Additional work within other positions can be discussed upon interview.

Schedule:

Fri/Sat, 8:00 AM up to 4:00 PM

Mondays, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Responsibilities:

· Prioritizing positive patient experiences using AIDET

· Maintain Emergency Room and hospital common areas for cleanliness and sanitation

· Clean and turnover patient rooms after discharge

· Clean, disinfect & restock medical areas & restrooms

· Sweeping/mopping

· Operate machine scrubber and burnisher

· Window washing

· Task work during downtime

· Must speak the English language fluently

· Oversee a clock-in service to cover “no-shows” on scheduled workdays as needed

Requirements:

· Submit to background screening

· Eye for detail

· Well-kept appearance and demeanor

· Medical attire (navy blue scrubs)

· Customer Service Skills

· Holidays mandatory on your scheduled workdays
