Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in a hospital setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks inside the emergency department and common areas.
This position is located in Valparaiso IN.
Schedule:
- Flexible work days from Monday - Sunday
- 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am available. Specific shift times slightly negotiable.
- Must be willing to work holidays on scheduled work days.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain patient rooms, lobbies, hallways, windows, and restrooms.
- Perform porter duties, including taking out the trash, cleaning up potentially biohazardous spills, and restocking supplies.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct thorough floor care, including sweeping, mopping, machine scrubbing and more.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment.
- Excellent communication and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently
