Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces in a commercial setting. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding floor care techniques, including floor scrubbing using a floor scrubber machine, and general custodial duties.
Schedule:
- 7 days a week, 6:00am-8:30am
(Monday - Friday schedule option available, pay would be adjusted)
(2nd shift option available at 1pm for additional pay. Second shift is 30 minutes to 1 hour for a touch up restroom clean)
Duties
- Perform routine restroom cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing using a floor scrubber machine.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning services.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and supplies after use.
- Getting daily checklist signed off by manager to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floor care or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, including the use of floor care equipment.
- Familiarity with a floor scrubbing machine.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow online and instructions on paper or phone app accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for extended periods and push a floor scrubber.
- Reliable transportation.
- Smart phone able to download clock-in and out app.
Opportunity to earn additional income by covering 2nd shift when needed but not required!
