Research Associate : Biological Computation - Contract - San Diego, CA
Proclinical is seeking a Research Associate in Biological Computation to support a significant data collection project.
Primary Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will collaborate with scientists to manage and process cryopreserved animal tissues for imaging and molecular biology analysis. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure efficient sample handling and data collection.
Skills & Requirements :
- Background in Biomedical Science or related field.
- Experience with laboratory animal tissue preparation.
- Proficiency in cryosectioning and molecular biology techniques (RNA / DNA extraction).
- Familiarity with immunohistochemistry and tissue-based expression analysis.
- Strong computer skills for maintaining electronic records.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
