Research Associate - Contract - Lexington, MA
Proclinical is seeking a Research Associate to join a dynamic team focused on developing synthetic and non-viral nanomedicines.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves working with lipid nanoparticles and applying advanced analytical techniques to support preclinical and clinical studies. The ideal candidate is someone who can contribute to innovative research and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in formulating lipid nanoparticles at small to mid-scale using microfluidics.
- Proficiency in analytical methods such as dynamic light scattering (DLS) and fluorescence-based assays.
- Experience in the lyophilization of lipid nanoparticles.
- Ability to maintain laboratory equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
- Experience with laboratory automation is a plus.
The Research Associate's responsibilities will be:
- Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) loaded with nucleic acids using microfluidics.
- Conduct freeze-drying studies to assess and optimize the stability of LNP formulations.
- Communicate research findings through presentations and written reports.
- Plan, execute, and document experiments independently.
