Job Description:
We are looking for a professional, self-motivated Physical Therapy Technician to assist in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a physical therapy clinic and hold a degree in Exercise Science or Rehabilitative Sciences. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with patients to support them in their recovery journey while collaborating with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Rehabilitative Sciences, or a related field (preferred)
- Fitness certifications such as CPT, CSCS, PES, etc. (preferred but not required)
- First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred but not required)
- At least one year of experience in a physical therapy clinic or similar setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with patients and team members
- Self-motivated and professional demeanor
Responsibilities:
- Rehabilitative Program Support: Assist Physical Therapists in creating and implementing individualized therapy programs; guide patients through exercises to improve strength, mobility, and functionality; monitor patient progress and report feedback.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients and team members; update the Physical Therapist on patient progress and concerns; help patients follow therapy instructions.
- Clinic Maintenance: Keep the clinic clean and organized, ensuring safety; sanitize equipment between sessions; assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
- Case Management: Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and communicate any changes to patients.
