Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paint Prep to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for auto body repair and vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas that are not to be painted
- Assist with buffing and polishing painted surfaces
- Mix and match paint colors to specifications
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto body repair or painting is preferred
- Knowledge of auto estimating and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is a plus
- Experience in auto restoration or working as a mechanic is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Proficiency in auto glass repair would be beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
