CED Auto, owns 3 ProColor Collision Centers in the Los Angeles market and is looking for an Automotive A.D.A.S Calibration Technician for its 3 locations. All locations are contracted for GEICO, Statefarm and Famers Insurance and are our source of business. All location are strategically located in a very busy area of Los Angeles and receives many cars each day. We are looking for a Technician that can handle this high volume of cars and can manage calibrating process from start to finish.
**Job Description:**
As an A.D.A.S. Calibration Technician at ProColor Collision, you will be responsible for calibrating and testing advanced driver assistance systems in a variety of vehicles at different locations. Your expertise will ensure that our systems operate accurately and safely, contributing to the overall success of our automotive technology solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform calibration and alignment of A.D.A.S. components, including cameras, radar, and sensors, on-site at our multiple locations.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and resolve system issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement calibration procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of calibration processes and results.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in A.D.A.S. technology.
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology preferred.
- Experience in A.D.A.S. calibration or related automotive systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and sensor technology.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
- Valid driver’s license is required; must be able to obtain approval through our insurance policy.
- Must be able to lift [specify weight, e.g., "up to 50 pounds"] as required for the role.
