Job Description
Development and support of a custom test automation system in support of Solid-State Drive (SSD) firmware continuous integration testing. PHP (web) and MySQL are the primary technologies.
Duties include :
Development to requirements / acceptance criteria, unit-level testing to ensure proper functionality, and debug / support for software developed. The engineer will be part of an Agile Scrum team working on a bi-weekly sprint cadence. Requirements and acceptance criteria are often vague / unclear, so the engineer must be comfortable rapidly prototyping to gain clarity and user acceptance.
Qualifications
Requires expert-level skills / experience in these technologies with the expectation that the engineer will ramp very quickly on an existing complex web / database application and be able to engage in feature development with little or no documentation / training / direction. Must have outstanding communication and customer engagement skills.
